About Madison

Madison Hansen is a Principal Management Consultant at M2, providing expertise in the training, learning, and development spaces. She is a skilled educator and teacher who previously served as assistant director for the Office of Student Conduct at Washington University in St. Louis and as academic integrity program director for the Office of the Dean of Students at Boise State University. In these roles, Madison was responsible for designing a wide variety of educational initiatives including learning experiences related to ethical decision-making for thousands of learners, coaching faculty, and supporting students from many academic disciplines. She also has experience teaching first-year college composition and providing consulting services at a writing center.

Education

Madison earned both her M.A. in rhetoric and composition and her B.A. in English literature with a minor in gender studies from Boise State University in Idaho, where she’s originally from. During her time as a student, she developed a passion for learning how to help others learn and was involved in activities including being a mentor for TRIO Upward Bound, co-founding and leading the gender studies club, and participating in other DEI initiatives.

Interesting Facts

In her free time, Madison enjoys crocheting, finding cool places to play indie board games with friends, writing creative nonfiction, watching and reading science fiction, and spending time with her partner and their three pets.
