About Helo
Helo Mustafa is the President and Co-Founder of M2 Strategy. He has led the charge in pushing for new ways that technology and process allow organizations to work smarter while maintaining an employee-focused culture. He has led the development of the firm’s transformational services and proprietary methodologies and spearheaded the firm’s growth in the collaborative work execution market including the development of M2’s Federal Smartsheet Lab. His fresh perspectives on how to use technology to automate and make us work smarter has resulted in M2 being recognized as a national Fastest Growing Firm for five of the last six years. His dedication to an employee-focused culture has also resulted in M2 being named as the #1 Best Workplace in the DC area. His development of a forward-thinking employee performance framework was recognized in national publications.
Prior to joining M2, Helo held leadership positions at Oracle, Boeing, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and IBM. He was instrumental in the development of a cloud-based architecture for a startup firm that was sold to IBM. He is regularly sought out by clients for his thought-leadership on how to transform organizations’ cultures, workforce structures, and business processes.
When he is not working, he is Paying It Forward – a key M2 core value – giving back to local charities with a focus on children and families. He has coached local youth teams the last 7 years and in 2020 was recognized as a youth basketball Coach of the Year.
Education
Helo has a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the George Washington University in Washington, DC.
